Flores Airport in a nutshell

The westernmost island of Europe, Flores, is accessible exclusively by air via the local small airport, Flores FLW.

The airport building is very small and check-in, along with going through security, is a matter of 10 minutes. However, remember that the check-in desks close 30 minutes before departure. Therefore, it is best to arrive at the airport approximately 45-50 minutes before departure.

The airport is located right in the middle of the island's largest city, Santa Cruz das Flores, on the eastern side of the island.

Only SATA Azores Airlines operates flights to Flores, flying 3-4 times a day with propeller planes to 70 destinations and only from the surrounding Azores airports (Ponta Delgada, Horta, Terceira, Corvo).
