Chania is the second largest airport in Crete and one of the busiest holiday airports in Greece. In addition to charter flights from all over Europe, Ryanair is based here, flying to Katowice and Wroclaw, for example.

The airport terminal can be found on the Akrotiri peninsula 14 km from the city of Chania and 72 km from the city of Rethymno.

Ryanair offers the most flights to Chania airport. The vast majority of flights are seasonal from April to October and Ryanair's portfolio from Chania includes destinations such as Berlin, Vienna, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow, Bergamo, Budapest, Dublin, London, Nuremberg and many more across Europe.

Wizz Air and easyJet also fly more widely to Chania.

You can also buy regular year-round flights during the winter, especially through aegeanair.com Athens and also with Ryanair on a few routes, especially to Greece or Cyprus.
