Transfer at Cape Town Airport

Cape Town

Cape Town has the only modern and very clear terminal, which is divided into a domestic and international section.

Departures are located on the first floor, while arrivals are located on the ground floor. The terminal is shared by all flights and airlines.

A central security checkpoint leads to all departures. After checking in on the right you go to the domestic section, while on the left you go through passport control to the international section.

Passport and security checks tend to be efficient and quick in Cape Town.

Transfer between flights

Transferring is quick and easy, with a 7-10 minute walk from one end of the terminal to the other.

If you are transferring from an international to a domestic flight or vice versa, security and passport control must be taken into account and therefore the minimum time is 60 minutes.

If you are transferring between domestic flights only, the transfer is extremely fast and without checks.
