Transfer at Calgary Airport

Banff National Park

The airport has a single terminal divided into domestic and international sections.

Calgary is one of the medium-sized and very well-organized airports. Check-in counters and all departure gates are within a single building.

There are no satellite terminals in the middle of the airport and even the furthest departure gates are within a 10-minute walk of security.

Clear maps of the terminals and connecting corridors can be found on the airport's official website at yyc.com/terminal-maps.

Transfer between flights

Calgary is a great and uncluttered airport for connecting flights. The airport area is relatively small and, more importantly, compact - walking distances are short and any immigration checks are quick and efficient (usually queues of up to 30 minutes).

Canadian airports, unlike those in the US, have a separate transit area. However, you will still go through Canadian immigration.
