Train
The FM2 and FR2 rail lines offer the fastest and most comfortable transport. They terminate in the city centre at Bari Centrale main station. The station is about 250 metres from the terminal and the way to it is via a signposted underpass.

Ticket price is 5,20 eur and tickets can be purchased at the kiosk or ticket machine outside the station entrance. You can pay with cash or card. Please note that the airport is served by the regional company Ferrotramviaria and so tickets cannot be bought via the Italian railways Trenitalia website.

Public bus to Bari
The cheapest transport to central Bari is the suburban bus line 16 of the transport company AMTAB (timetables and information: amtab.it/en), which runs every 30 to 60 minutes between Bari airport and the train station.
Compared to the train, the bus also has the advantage of going to the historic centre.
Tickets can be bought at the RELAY newsagent on the 1st floor at the airport, in town at any tobacconist, or via the MUVT app (available on Google Play or the App Store).

The comfortable Terravision buses to Bari
The last alternative are the large, more comfortable Terravision buses in collaboration with Tempesta (some of the coaches can be described just as "Tempesta").

The advantage is the later departures from the airport and the convenient non-stop journey to Bari Centrale Station.
Bus to Gargano

Car rental
If Bari airport serves as a starting point for trips around the Apulian countryside, car hire is the best option. Many large international and smaller local car rental companies are based right at the airport.
