Internet and wi-fi
Free wifi is available through the @Airport Free Wi-Fi by NT network.
You need to fill in your name and email, but there's no need to verify, so feel free to make up all the details. Wifi always works for 1 hour, after that you need to log in again. This process can be repeated over and over again.
Don't delay after arrival by buying a physical sim card. Get a Thai data e-sim quickly and easily at airalo.com.
Luggage storage
You can find luggage storage in several locations. The main locker is operated by Bellugg and can be found on the arrivals level (2nd floor). It is open 24 hours a day and the price per day varies according to the size of the luggage and ranges between 100 thb and 150 thb.
Book online on the website bellugg.com and get a discount and pay from 80 thb.
Several other lockers, including self-service lockers, can be found at the entrance to the train station. Most are open 24 hours a day and have similar rates between 100 thb and 150 thb depending on the size of your luggage.
All lockers are cash only.
ATMs and exchange offices
There are a large number of ATMs absolutely everywhere at the airport, but only the green KBank. ATMs charge a fee 220 thb for withdrawals and you won't find any other bank at the airport.
Currency exchange offices are also operated by KBank, which has them in many locations throughout the airport. However, the exchange rates are not very good and it is better to exchange money at the Happy Rich exchange booth at the entrance to the train station.
Shops and minimarkets
The transit area of the airport resembles an upscale shopping mall. You will almost exclusively find luxury boutiques selling fashion, jewellery and watches, expensive toy shops and duty free shops.
More practical for travellers after arrival are the mini-markets with food.
- 7Eleven - public area, arrivals and train stations, all branches open 24/7
- Family Mart - public area, arrivals, 24/7
You'll also find Boots pharmacies open 24/7 in the transit area near security and on the arrivals floor of the public section.
For a list of all stores, please visit the airport website.
Restaurants
Most restaurants are located in the public area of the terminal, where the entire 3rd floor is dedicated to them. Here you will find international restaurants, local cuisine and fast-food places like McDonald's and Subway.
There are fewer restaurants behind security, although you won't go hungry here either. However, prices are considerably higher than in the public area.
A list of all dining options is available on the airport website.
TIP: on the ground floor of the public section (marked as Level 1), you'll find the folksy eatery "Airport Street Food by Magic Food Point" at the very far end (on the right as you exit the train). It offers mostly Thai and Chinese cuisine at prices starting from 80 thb for a main meal. You will eat here tasty and a lot. Immediately after entering on the left, you need to exchange money at the cashier for coupons, which you will then use to pay for your food at each stall.
Showers and swimming pool
You won't find public showers at the airport, except in lounges with access only for business and first class passengers, or gold and higher loyalty card holders.
The only alternative is the nearby Novotel hotel with showers, sauna and swimming pool, see information in the Hotels section.
Drinking water
There are always cold drinking water fountains near the toilets after security check, from which you can fill your own bottle free of charge.
