While there is no hotel in the transit area of the international terminal, there are 2 hotels right across the street from the building with a walking distance of about 2 minutes.
Hotels near the airport
The more distant hotels are significantly cheaper.
The cheapest hotel , the Ibis Budget**, apart from the bus below, can be reached by footpath after about a 10-15 minute walk.

Paid transfer - Yellow Bus
Several hotels are connected by a special Yellow Bus service. However, you can pay for a one-way ticket 8 nzd (you can also pay by card - at the ticket machine on the way from the airport, at the hotel reception on the way from the hotel or online at yellowbus.co.nz/book-my-ticket).
