Bus to Aarhus
The main bus station at Banegårdspladsen bus stop in the centre of Aarhus is easily reached by bus number 925X (for the exact timetable, visit the airport website aar.dk), which connects to every flight.
The journey to the centre takes 50 minutes and you pay for a ticket 128 dkk for an adult or 64 dkk for a child, see the price list at midttrafik.dk/priser/lufthavnsbusser. You can pay either with cash or credit card at the driver. If you have an Aarhus Card, you can also use it for this connection.
An alternative connection to the surrounding villages is provided by line 212, which runs about once an hour.
Car rental
Despite the low traffic at Aarhus Airport, there are 6 major international car rental companies. If you want to travel around the Danish countryside, renting a car is the best option.
