Kuwait Airways is a medium-sized airline and the national airline of the State of Kuwait.

Unlike Emirates, Etihad Airways or Qatar Airways from neighbouring countries, Kuwait Airways has never achieved similar success and remains more of a minority airline and a complementary option for travel from Europe to the Far East or India with a connection in Kuwait.

The biggest competitor is Kuwait's low-cost airline Jazeera Airways.

The company operates 30 Airbus A320, Airbus A330-800 and Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
