KLM in-flight services

KLM - Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet

KLM is still one of the airlines that offers free refreshments on long-haul flights and snacks on short-haul flights in Europe.

In-flight refreshments

Business class passengers are offered a full menu on both short and long haul flights.

Economy Class passengers are offered complimentary light snacks in the form of a small baguette and soft drinks on short flights within Europe.

On long-haul flights, 2 meals are served - dinner and breakfast or lunch and a light snack.

Entertainment system

On long-haul flights, you can take advantage of the free IFE - In Flight Entertaiment. The entertainment system will offer hundreds of movies, series and documentaries, music or games.

The screens are touchscreen and high-resolution.

This system is only installed on long-haul fleet aircraft (Airbus A330, Boeing 787, 777)

In Boeing 787 aircraft the system is modern, while in Airbus A330 or Boeing 777 aircraft there are often old screens that are not touchscreen and have to be operated with a remote control.

Wifi in flight

On board most of the fleet you can use in-flight wifi.

Internet connectivity is offered in 3 packages, where you can get the specific price on your chosen flight by connecting to the wifi network and going to klm.com/inflight-wifi:

  • Message Pass - to send text messages via Messenger, Whatsapp, etc., free of charge
  • Surf Pass - connection suitable for viewing emails or reading messages, 8 eur / 1 hour or 18 eur for the whole flight
  • Stream Pass - Long-term full internet connection, 30 eur for the whole flight
