Akasa Air check-in

Akasa Air is one of the carriers that allow free check-in at the airport.
Check-in at the airport
Check-in at the airport counter is free of charge for Akasa Air.
Counter opening and closing times are as follows:
- 3 hours before departure, the counter opens
- 60 minutes before departure, the counter closes
At selected airports you can check-in via a self-service kiosk, which allows you to avoid queues if you are travelling with hand luggage only.
You can only go through security and passport control at Indian airports once check-in for your flight starts, which is no later than 4 hours before an international flight and 3 hours before a domestic flight. You will not be allowed through immigration before then.
Which terminals are used for check-in?
Large Indian and international airports usually have multiple terminals. Akasa Air uses the following buildings:
- Delhi - Terminal 2
- Bangalore - Terminal 1 (international flights from Terminal 2)
- Mumbai - Terminal 1 (international flights from Terminal 2)
Online check-in
You can check-in online in the comfort of your home 48 hours to 60 minutes before departure via akasaair.com/web-check-in.
Online check-in is also available via the Akasa Air mobile app (Google Play / App Store), where you enter your booking number and present a QR code on your mobile phone at the airport.
If you are travelling with hand luggage only, you do not need to visit the airport counter at all in this case. Proceed straight to security and passport control.
Selecting a seat (seating)
Do you want a window seat or, on a long flight, do you prefer an aisle seat so you can stretch out undisturbed at any time?
The cheapest "Saver" fare does not include seat selection. You can choose your seat during the booking process from 150 inr or select a discounted seat and meal offer on board.
