The modern Bai Dinh temple complex is one of the largest temple complexes in all of Vietnam. Inside you will find many pagodas, smaller temples and other shrines. Especially among the Vietnamese, this giant complex is very popular.
The most striking structure is the traditional 22-meter high pagoda here, which can also be visited.
Entrance fees and opening hours
There is no entrance fee to the complex, but you will have to pay on site to enter some of the shrines. For example, you will pay 50 000 vnd to enter the pagoda.
The official car park is very far from the temples themselves, so once you've parked you'll probably want to use the local electric carts to take you to the temples. There is a charge of 30 000 vnd per direction for the ride.
The complex is open every day from 7am to 6pm.
Transportation to Bai Dinh
There is no public transport to the Bai Dinh complex, you must arrive on a rented scooter or as part of an organised tour.
