On the site of an old railway line winding along the rugged coastline from the eastern end of the beach northwards, a unique excursion site called Haeundae Blueline Park has been created.

At 4,800 metres long, the line has been restored as a tourist attraction. Special excursion trains run along the tracks, while a pedestrian walkway runs alongside the tracks. A special tourist track has been built above the conventional line, on which small colourful cars called Sky Capsules run, offering the best views.
The views are the main attraction of Blueline Park. Along the route, you can get off at several stations, from which viewing platforms lead out over the sea.
Opening hours
The trains run at intervals of about 30 minutes, while the Sky Capsule cars run about once every 5-10 minutes.
The runway is open all year round from 9:30am. The last ride varies according to the season and a detailed schedule can be found on the official website.
The pedestrian walkway is open 24 hours a day.

Transportation to Blueline Park
The ride has the track starting at the east end of Haeundae Beach (location on map). The nearest subway station of Green Line 2 Jungdong is about 650 meters away.
The end of the line is then directly at the "Donghae-Nambu Line" Songjeong suburban train station. This train/metro, like the Green Line subway, will take you to downtown Busan.
