Spring
The spring months will be literally enchanting thanks to the ubiquitous greenery and parks. Temperatures will be around 13°C in March, but will reach 20°C in April and even 26°C in May. On average, however, expect temperatures between 18 and 21 °C.
High cloud cover and possible showers are to be expected for about a third of the month.
Summer
From June to August, you can enjoy countless sunny days in Riga. The sun will be visible in the sky from early morning to late evening thanks to the proximity of the Arctic Circle.
If you're lucky enough to get temperatures over 30°C, take a trip to the local beach in Jūrmala.
Even in summer, however, you should expect more frequent showers, but these rarely turn into more persistent showers or even thunderstorms.
Autumn
Summer temperatures persist in the following months, especially in September and October you will still be warm enough. The break in daytime temperatures comes in November, when it can cool rapidly from 15°C to zero Celsius.
Paradoxically, the autumn months are not as rainy. You just have to allow for possible snowfall towards the end of November.
