The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is a small but one of the most important museums in Italy dealing with European and American art of the first half of the 20th century.
The small gallery mainly contains the collection of Peggy Guggenheim, niece of mining magnate Solomon R. Guggenheim, and boasts works of Cubism, Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism. Among the important artists included in the collection are greats such as Picasso, Dalí and Brâncuși.
Admission and opening hours
Open daily except Tuesdays from 10:00 to 18:00. Last entry is possible 1 hour before closing time.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adults - 16 eur
- Seniors over 70 years old - 14 eur
- Students with ISIC card - 9 eur
