One of Europe's most famous and beautiful beaches lies halfway between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio.
Thanks to its sheltered location, there are hardly any waves, making it ideal for families with children. Thanks to its location in an almost perfectly circular bay, the beach and its surroundings resemble the shape of a small shell, but this is especially appreciated when viewed from a bird's eye view.
Plage de La Rondinara is often ranked in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world in various rankings, just like nearby Palombaggia or Santa Giulia beach.
Swimming and beach facilities
The remoteness of Rondinara Beach certainly contributes to its popularity, with the nearest development located about 5 km away. The beautiful rural setting is enhanced by the groves of pine trees that extend right onto the beach, providing natural shade.
The fine white sand is complemented in several places by small rocky cliffs, but the entrance to the water is comfortable, very gradual and safe. Thanks to the almost completely enclosed bay, there are hardly any waves and the water is clear, which is why the conditions for snorkelling are excellent.
