In 2017, a new and spacious terminal was opened, which is also very clearly signposted. Although the airport has grown in size, it has made passing through much easier. The old terminal has been converted into a cargo airport and therefore only 1 building is open for passengers.
Security and passport control here is quick and you will rarely wait more than 15 minutes.
Transfer between flights
In particular, Croatia Airlines will offer transfers from Western Europe to Croatian or Balkan destinations at Zagreb Airport.
The terminal is equipped with the possibility of a direct transfer without having to leave the transit area.
The transfer is well signposted and you will go through security during the transfer. If you are connecting to Split, Dubrovnik, Rijeka, Zadar or Osijek, you will also go through passport control.
The realistic transfer time at Zagreb Airport is 15-20 minutes.
