Train to Turin

The airport is served by SFM commuter trains, which are the most direct route to the city centre and are particularly convenient if you want to continue on from Turin on long-distance or intercity trains.

There are two train lines to the city centre and the easiest way to find connections is on trenitalia.com.

  • SFM 4 - Torino Corso Grosseto, Torino Rebaudengo Fossaria, Torino Porta Susa, Torino Lingotto, Chieri, Bra, Alba
  • SFM 7 - Torino Corso Grosseto, Torino Rebaudengo Fossaria, Torino Porta Susa, Torino Lingotto, Chieri, Savigliano, Fossano

Each line runs once every 60 minutes, so the resulting frequency on the shared route to the centre is 30 minutes.

  • Price - 3,60 eur per trip
  • Journey time - 34 minutes to Torino Porta Susa
  • First train from Porta Susa - 5:01 (Monday-Saturday), 5:25 (Sunday and holidays)
  • Last train from the airport - 22:28

Hotels near Porta Susa station

Tickets can be bought from the ticket machine at the station or via the Trenitalia mobile app. This ticket is valid for 100 minutes and can be freely transferred to other SFM train lines, trams, metro and public buses. The 24-hour ticket for public transport in Turin is not valid for SFM trains!

The station, called "Torino Aeroporto di Caselle", can be found behind the car park and is clearly signposted. Normally trains terminate at Torino Dora station on the northern edge of the centre, where you can change to trams and buses to the centre.

For information on fares and timetables, visit the official website: sfmtorino.it.

In the centre of Turin, it stops at the two most important stations: Porta Nuova (Piazza Carlo Felice) and Porta Susa (corso Bolzano).

Taxi

Due to the distance of the airport from the centre, expect taxi prices to be around 40 eur.
