Aktion Airport, better known as "Preveza/Lefkas" or "Lefkada", is located about 3 km from the town of Preveza and 21 km from the very popular tourist island of Lefkada, which it primarily serves.
Preveza is almost exclusively served by seasonal low-cost flights or charter flights for tour operators. Most scheduled flights during the summer are operated by easyJet and Ryanair.
Only Greek Airlines fly to the local airport all year round Sky Express from the surrounding islands.
The airport operates one very small terminal, which tends to be congested especially in the summer season. Be prepared for a shortage of seats.
