The airport is very far from the city centre and if you travel by public transport from Szczecin, you should expect at least 50 minutes of driving.

Despite its small size, the airport is directly connected to the railway and there are also minibuses to the surrounding towns. The cheapest train ticket to Szczecin is 18 pln.

There are also car rental branches in the terminal.

Train

The train station can be found about 100 metres slightly to the right of the terminal.

There is no ticket machine or ticket office at the station, so in the direction from the airport you can buy a ticket from the conductor inside the carriage at no extra charge. When travelling to the airport from Szczecin Glowny Station, you must purchase your ticket in advance.

However, trains do not connect to all arrivals or departures, so check the timetable in advance at polregio.pl.

Minibus and bus to Szczecin

A more frequent connection to the centre of Szczecin is offered by the minibuses of PKS Szcecin, which serve all scheduled departures and arrivals.

Unlike the train, buses also run directly to the historic centre and stops in the direction of the airport are at these locations:

• Rodła Square - 17 Wyzwolenia Avenue (see map)
• Main Bus Station - stop number 5 (see map)
• Dabie train station (see map)

Tickets can be purchased from the driver (payment by card or cash) or online at pks.szczecin.pl/en.

Flixbus buses also provide additional connections, but these do not connect to all flights and must be booked online in advance.

You can also get to Kolobrzeg and Koszalin from the airport without changing buses, which are served by Flixbus buses.

There are buses to both cities twice a day and the price of the ticket depends on the timeliness of the online booking.

Europcar, Avis, Hertz and Sixt car rental counters are located in the arrivals hall.

Taxi

There are always official taxis waiting outside the arrivals hall, but if you're among the last to get off the plane, all the cars may be gone.

The normal taxi fare to Szczecin city centre is around 200 pln. You can pay with cash or card.

The Bolt mobile app also works in Szczecin, but due to the long distance of the airport from the city centre, cars in the direction of the city are not available. Moreover, the price is often higher than for regular taxis.
