In Västerås, Sweden, passengers use a very small airport, also known as Hässlö.
The airport is located about 100 km from Stockholm, but despite this, the city has this airport right in its official name, as well as a similarly distant and slightly larger airport Stockholm Skavsta NYO.
Västerås Airport, which uses only one very small terminal, is currently only served by Ryanair from London and also flies to several seaside destinations in the summer season, for example in Spain.
Due to the very small terminal, you only need to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours before your flight.
The airport can also be used to travel to Örebro, 101 km away.
