Split Airport has the only modern and architecturally very nice terminal serving all airlines.
The terminal is well laid out and not particularly large. The check-in desks are on the ground floor on the right side, while the arrivals area is on the left side of the hall when viewed from the outside.
To get through security, you have to take the escalator up to the first floor.
The separation between flights to Schengen area countries and flights to all other countries takes place after the security checkpoint.

Transfer between flights
Split airport is mostly a terminal airport and only works for transfers in a small percentage of cases. The transfers mostly concern domestic flights within Croatia.
The transfer corridor is marked with "Flight Connections" signs and if you are also checking in for the next flight, you do not have to leave the transit area.
You only need 20 minutes for the transfer.
