The third largest airport in the Netherlands is located 6 km north of Rotterdam and 24 km south of Den Haag.

The airport handles less than 2 million passengers a year, making it one of the smaller and less important airports. Most of the traffic from Rotterdam goes to summer destinations by the sea, and the largest number of flights to Rotterdam can be purchased from Transavia.

All flights are served by one very small and rather outdated terminal. Be prepared for few seats, but generally the check-in process is fast and the distances are very short. It takes no more than 10 minutes to get through security to the departure gates.
