The small international airport, named after local native and well-known filmmaker Federico Fellini, can be found on the southern outskirts of Rimini towards the resort of Riccione. The name of the airport includes a reference to the state of San Marino, which is only 10 km away as the crow flies.
Flights to Rimini can be purchased mainly with Ryanair, which operates flights from here to Prague, Budapest, Kaunas, Cagliari, London, Vienna, Krakow and other cities.
The airport is also served by Wizz Air from Albania and Romania, and several summer charter flights from various parts of Europe.
