Radom Airport is located in the Sadków district, about 5 km from the city centre.
Radom's history as a civilian airport only began in 2014, and for a long time it failed to attract and maintain a significant number of airlines and routes. A tortuous development path resulted in the renaming of the airport to "Warsaw Radom Airport" to make it more attractive to potential travellers and airlines.
However, it is good to take into account the fact that the Polish capital Warsaw lies more than 100 km from the airport.
Currently, the Polish airline LOT flies to Radom Airport, mostly seasonal routes to the sea, but also, for example, routes to Rome.
Regular flights from Radom are also operated by Wizz Air (e.g. to Cyprus).
Passengers on all flights check in at one very small terminal, which can be crossed on foot in 3 minutes.
