Punta Gorda Airport in a nutshell

Punta Gorda

Punta Gorda's small domestic airport is 3.5 miles from the Florida resort town of the same name, 9 miles from Port Charlotte and 23 miles from Fort Myers.

The airport serves as one of the largest bases for Allegiant Air, which flies to approximately 50 cities throughout the United States. Sun Country Airlines also operates occasional seasonal flights here.

Passengers are served by a single, very small terminal, and although it is equipped with only basic services, its undeniable advantage over the large Florida airports is the very short distances (you can walk the entire airport in 3 minutes) and the quick security check.
