The terminal is located about 8 km from the city centre and is accessible by car and bus.
Car rental
Despite its tiny size, Pula Airport is home to many car rental companies, including major multinational brands. If you want to get to know the Istrian peninsula as much as possible, we recommend renting a car directly at Pula Airport.
Bus to Pula
Only a special shuttle bus operated by the airport goes directly to the terminal. The timetable is set separately for each day approximately 10 days in advance and corresponds to the flight traffic.
For the exact timetable and current ticket prices, please visit the airport website.
Ticket costs 6 eur and is payable to the driver by card or cash. The bus terminates at the main bus station in Pula, where you can change to city and intercity lines, see the chapters Transport in Pula and Getting to Pula for more information.
At the bus station, the airport bus stops on platform 16, while at the airport it stops directly in front of the arrivals hall.
The journey from the airport to the bus station in the centre of Pula takes 10-12 minutes, depending on traffic.
The suburban public transport bus lines 23 and 23a no longer stop at the airport. The bus stop is located about 700 metres on foot from the terminal (see route map) and the bus passes through here 3-5 times a day, but on Sundays it does not run at all. Timetables with departure times from the terminals only can be found on the Pula public transport website: pulapromet.hr/vozni-red. Tickets paid at the driver's desk cost 2 eur.
Taxi
Taxis to central Pula cost around 16 eur. It can sometimes be difficult to find a taxi at the airport after arrival, but all scheduled arrivals are followed by an airport bus.
