Prague Vaclav Havel Airport in a nutshell

Charles Bridge in Prague

The largest airport in the Czech Republic is located about 11 km west of the centre of Prague in the Ruzyně district. For many years Ruzyne was even in the official name of the airport, but since 2012 it has been named after former president Václav Havel.

Czech Airlines and Smartwings have their main base here. Prague is also used as one of the bases by airlines Ryanair and Eurowings.

Prague has regular connections with about a hundred cities across Europe and several long-haul flights(Dubai, Seoul, Taipei, New York, etc.).
