Pico, the second largest island in the Azores, is also accessible by air via the Pico airport, located on the northern coast about 9 km from the town of Madalena and 15 km from the town of São Roque do Pico.
The local airport is only served by Azores Airlines from Lisbon and SATA from the two main Azores airports , Ponta Delgada PDL or Terceira TER.

A single terminal serves all flights. The building is spacious and very clear. Check-in counters are on the far right and arrivals are on the left.
After passing through security you will find yourself in a waiting area with one shop, there is plenty of seating.
