Phu Quoc Airport has 1 terminal.
Check-in desks are on the 1st floor. On the left is the security checkpoint for domestic flights and on the right is the security checkpoint leading to the international transit area.
The terminal is modern, spacious and very clear. It opened brand new in 2012.
Immigration and security checks
Passport control here is fairly quick as there is no visa check. You will be waiting for 15 to 30 minutes.
Pre-departure security checks are also quick and there is rarely a wait of more than 20 minutes.
Transfer between flights
As Phu Quoc airport is not a major hub, guaranteed transfers are rare here.
The terminal does not have a direct transfer option, so you always have to go through immigration, come out and check in again.
