Paphos Airport (also known in Greek as Pafos) is a popular entry point for holidaymakers to the west coast of Cyprus. Located 7km from the resort of the same name, it is mainly the domain of Ryanair, which is based here, to the whole of Europe and also British Airways to the UK.
The airport itself is small, uncluttered and fairly modern, but in the summer season there can be unpleasant queues for both check-in and security, so arrive at least 2 hours before your flight.
Paphos is the base for Ryanair, which also operates direct flights from here to all of Europe.
An alternative for travel to Cyprus is the airport about 130 km away. Larnaka LCA, where low-cost airlines fly mainly Wizz Air and many conventional airlines.
