Hotels near the terminal
At a large airport like Palma, you'd probably expect to find several hotels right by the terminal. However, you won't find a single hotel within walking distance of the Mallorca Airport terminal.
The nearest hotels are about 1.5 km from the airport in the village of Can Pastilla, but it is not possible to walk there comfortably. The only advantage over staying directly in Palma is the shorter taxi ride time and cheaper rate.
Although there is a bus to Can Pastilla from the terminal, the fare is the same as to the centre of Palma.
Hotels in Palma
For exploring the island as well as the widest range of accommodation in all price ranges, Palma de Mallorca is the best capital city. Buses from the airport run to Palma from 4:45am to 1:15pm.
