Oradea International Airport in a nutshell

Oradea

Oradea is a small international airport in northwestern Romania, located 4 km from the centre of the city of the same name or 90 km from the Hungarian city of Debrecen.

Traffic at the local airport is very light. The busiest route is operated by Tarom to Bucharest (1-3 times a day). International connections are provided by the Polish airline LOT to Warsaw, as well as occasional summer charter flights for Romanian tourists heading to the sea.

Occasionally a low-cost airline also flies to Oradea airport, but the routes usually do not last more than 2 seasons.

The airport terminal is very small and Oradea is generally one of the smallest airports in Europe. It will be sufficient if you arrive 75 minutes before departure, or 50 minutes if travelling with hand luggage only.
