Internet and wi-fi
Unlimited free wi-fi is available throughout the airport. Connect to the "Maltairport Wi-fi" network without having to log in via sms code or fill in your email address.

Shops and supermarket
After passing through security, you will find yourself in a large duty free shop. Other shops in the transit and public areas include mainly travel goods and luxury fashion.
In the public part of the airport, there is a WHSmith newsagent in the arrivals hall (closes at 21:00) and an "Agenda Booshop" newsagent in the departures hall, open 24/7. In both places you can buy drinks and sweets in addition to printed materials.
Regular grocery supermarket The Convenice Shop is located in the Skyparks Business Center building about 200 metres north of the terminal. The supermarket is on the ground floor at the back right. It is open daily from 8:00-21:00.
A pharmacy is available in the public area of the arrivals hall with opening hours 8:00-14:30 and 15:30-22:00.
Dining options
Restaurants are plentiful at Malta Airport, with more branches in the public area (landside). After security you will only come across 3 food outlets. Check the opening hours of popular chains:
- KFC (10:00-22:00)
- Burger King (10:00-22:00)
- Costa Coffee (8:30-22:00)
In the public area you will find most restaurants in the basement. Follow the signs "Food Court", which will lead you to a spacious room with comfortable seating.
Other restaurants are located in the "Skyparks Business Center" building about 200 meters from the terminal.
In the transit area, you can take advantage of the Hard Rock Café and two snack bars with a selection of sandwiches and hot meals.

Luggage storage
Luggage storage can be found in the departure lounge. First, you report to the information desk that you wish to use the baggage room and then a member of staff will take you to a special baggage room.

ATMs
ATMs are located throughout the airport and operated by the following companies. Fees are shown for withdrawals made with a foreign card denominated in euros.
- Bank of Valletta (BOV) - no withdrawal fee (departure hall near Costa Coffe)
- HSBC - no withdrawal fee (arrivals hall)
- Euronet - withdrawal fee 4,50 eur (transit departure area)
Observation deck
The aircraft observation deck is available on the 3rd floor of the public area and is accessible free of charge 24 hours a day.
Drinking water
After passing through security, you'll find cold drinking water fountains near most restrooms. You can fill your own bottle with water for free.
Smoking room
After going through security, you can use the partially outdoor smoking area near the "Relish" restaurant.
Charging electronics
The airport is equipped with stands with sockets for charging. You will also find these located in the seats and all restaurants.
