The airport is best reached by bus. Taxis or car rental services are also available.
Bus 601
Bus line 601 runs directly to the terminal from 05:10 to 21:00.
The route connects the airport with the centre of Linz (the main train station "Linz-Hbf") and also the villages of Traun, Hörsching and Leonding. As the bus is primarily intended as a link between Linz and the towns of Traun and Hörsching, the timetable is fixed and does not adapt to flight traffic.
You can purchase a ticket for 3,70 eur from the driver. Payment can be made by card or cash.

Train + minibus
A more frequent (especially on weekends) service is the train from Hörsching station, 600 metres away.
The only trains that stop here are those on the Linz - Wels route.
Trains run once an hour from 5:00 to 22:50 and a ticket to Linz costs 2,90 eur. The journey from Hörsching station to Linz-Hbf takes 10 minutes.

A free airport minibus runs from the terminal to the station. When travelling from the airport, you have to call the information desk for a connection. When travelling from the station, you must call the free phone number +43 800 206600. The minibus will arrive within a few minutes.
The free minibus service only operates from 5:00 to 23:00.
Taxi
Uber, Bolt and other mobile apps do not operate in Linz.
There are always regular taxis waiting outside the terminal for scheduled flights, where you can pay by card or cash.
The price of a taxi to the centre of Linz is around 35 eur.
Car rental
Several multinational car rental companies operate at the airport. Weekly rental prices start at 390 eur.
