There is no railway line to the airport, so only local bus lines connect it with the surrounding towns.

Bus direction Leeds

The city of Leeds is 12 km away and is connected to the airport by the Flyer A1 bus service.

The line stops at all stops and can therefore be used to travel to Horsforth, Rawdon or the whole of the North West of Leeds. In the city centre it stops at the train station and terminates at the bus station.

A ticket for 2 gbp can be purchased by simply swiping your contactless card at the driver's terminal.

Bus direction Bradford

The town of Bradford is 12 miles from the airport and can be reached by both A2 and A3 buses.

Both lines terminate at Bradford Interchange station, where you can change trains and coaches.

A ticket for 2 gbp to all destinations can be purchased simply by swiping your contactless card at the driver's terminal.

  • Line A2 - runs via Yeadon and Apperley Bridge Station, journey time approx. 50 minutes
  • Line A3 - goes via Yeadon, Baildon, Shipley, journey time approx 55 minutes

Car Hire

Travel through the Pennines and head to the idyllic countryside of northern England. For these purposes, it will be most convenient to rent a car directly at the airport.
