Both terminals are connected to RTC Transit's public transportation buses to downtown Las Vegas.
However, the vast majority of passengers choose taxis to get to the Las Vegas Strip due to the short distance and therefore lower cost.
Taxi, Uber, Lyft
Taxi stands and ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft can be found outside both terminals on the arrivals level.
Normal taxi fares from LAS Airport are as follows:
- Bellagio Hotel/Casino - 30 usd
- MGM Grand - 18 usd
- Las Vegas Downtown - 32 usd
- Allegiant Stadium - 21 usd
- Hoover Dam - 56 usd
Car Hire
Traveling by car outside of the cities is the only practical transportation option in Nevada and surrounding states. Even large cities prefer automobile transportation entirely.
Rates for weekly rentals range from 250 usd to 350 usd, depending on the season, yet many car rental companies charge no fee for returning it to another location, such as Los Angeles.
Car rental companies are located approximately 5 miles south of the airport campus on Gilespie Street. On the arrivals level of all terminals, wait outside the building at the bus stop marked "Rental Car Shuttle". It runs approximately every 10 minutes 24/7 and shuttles passengers to all rental car locations.
- Bus stop at Terminal 1 - between exit doors 10 and 11
- Bus stop at Terminal 3 - between exit doors 51-54 and 55-58
Public transport buses
Buses run to both terminals. Look for bus stops at the following locations:
- Terminal 1 - Level 0, cross the crosswalk and you will see the covered bus stop "RTC" on the right.
- Terminal 3 - Level 2, in front of the departure hall
Official information, timetables and current ticket prices can be found on the website: rtcsnv.com.
