Kunovice Airport is one of the six international airports in the Czech Republic that had a foreign scheduled service at least for a short period of time in the history of the independent Czech Republic. Currently Kunovice has the status of a non-public international airport, which serves mainly the needs of the LET factory, a manufacturer of smaller transport aircraft for 19 passengers.

The airport is located 5 km from Uherské Hradiště, which is also the name of the airport's IATA code (UHE).

At the eastern end of the airport is the smaller Kunovice Aviation Museum. It is open from April to October daily including holidays from 9:00 to 17:00 (on holidays until 20:00). Tickets cost 3 eur, for children 2 eur. Official website.
