The only airport on the Greek island of Kos is located in the village of Antimachia, about 25 km west of the main town of Kos.
Most of the traffic there is summer charter flights and seasonal flights from mainland Europe.
Only Sky Express and Aegean Airlines provide regular year-round services to Athens with connections to many international destinations.
The airport terminal is small and outdated and, especially in the summer months, large crowds of passengers often waiting outside the terminal will make your stay uncomfortable.
The interior of the terminal is characterised by a lack of seating.
