The bus stops are right outside the terminal, from where you can take the X34 (Rasttat and Bühl - change to the train in both towns), 215 (Baden-Baden train station) and 234 (Rasttat - change to the train).

Train
You can't get directly to the airport by train, but only to the three towns in the surrounding area.

- Baden Baden (to the airport bus 215)
- Bühl (to airport bus 215)
For long-distance trains to the north (Frankfurt, Mannheim, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Heidelberg, Stuttgart and more) use Rastatt station.
For southbound trains (Freiburg, Basel), use Baden-Baden train station.
Only regional trains stop at Bühl station.
Car rental
It's worth hiring a car if you head straight from Karlsruhe Airport to explore the beauty of the countryside in the nearby Black Forest.
The terminal is home to many branches of international car rental companies and prices for a week start at around 220 eur.
