The airport has one large terminal, which is relatively uncluttered. However, large crowds are to be expected at certain times of the day.

Especially for early morning departures, we recommend being at the airport at least 2.5 hours before departure.

Sabiha Gökcen Airport is a frequent transfer point between Europe and the Middle East. The terminal is adapted for passengers in transit and if you have a guaranteed airline connection, you do not have to leave the transit area.
