Getting from Innsbruck Airport

Innsbruck Airport is connected to bus services in the direction of the city centre. There are also many car rental branches.

Bus F

The "F" bus line, which runs every 15 minutes and takes 20 minutes, takes you to the centre and the main station.

The first bus from the main station leaves at 5:32. The last bus from the airport to the centre leaves at 23:08. Timetables and connection search: ivb.at/lines.

Tickets can be purchased at the following prices.

  • 2,80 eur - One ride (no transfers to other buses or trams), available from the ticket machine at the bus stop
  • 2,80 eur - 90 minutes (transfer), can only be purchased on the IVB mobile app (Google Play / App Store)
  • 6,10 eur - 24 hours (in the vending machine and in the app)
  • 9 eur - 24 hours for 2 adults and up to 3 children up to 15 years of age

Rent a car

Approximately 50 metres directly opposite the terminal is a car park which houses the car rental branches.

Prices in the peak winter season start at around 380 eur per week.

Book a car in advance at a discount

Taxi, Uber

There are always plenty of taxis waiting at the airport. Prices are always calculated strictly according to the taxi meter.

The price to the centre of Innsbruck is roughly 20 eur.

You can also hail an official taxi via the Uber mobile app.
