Evenes Airport, more commonly known as Harstad/Narvik, is located in the north of Norway just above the Arctic Circle and is the nearest major departure point for travel to Lofoten and Vesterål.
However, there are no regular international flights to Evenes Airport and most connections are to Oslo, Bodø, Trondheim and surrounding smaller airports. All traffic is handled by SAS, Norwegian and Wideroe.
Evenes (10 km), Narvik (75 km) and Harstad (44 km) are the closest major towns to the airport.
The single small terminal building has a common lobby for check-in counters, security checkpoint and arrivals belt for baggage collection, which is located in the public part of the airport.
From the entrance to the terminal to the aircraft you will not walk more than 50 meters. Be prepared for a shortage of seating when checking in larger aircraft (typically on the Oslo route).

Good morning,
is Evenes airport still open 24 hours a day or is it totally closed during the night and reopened the next morning?
Maybe someone has info from this year, but last year they were still closing for the night. It's a small airport.
