There is no rail service to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport or its vicinity, but convenient long-distance buses provide transport to several major cities.

There are also several car rental companies in the terminal.

Long-distance buses

Major cities further afield can be reached by private carriers Flibco and Terravision. Tickets for these services are always cheaper when bought online.

Although the ticket is bought for the exact time, you can use any other connection in case of plane delays and bus capacity.

Frankfurt and Frankfurt Airport

You can get to Frankfurt, 130 km away, by Terravision buses.

The stops are in front of the main train station and in front of Frankfurt FRA Terminal 2.

Regular local bus services also stop at the airport.

    • Frequency - 60 minutes (120 minutes on weekends)

    • Frequency - 120 minutes
    • Price - 10,80 eur (Zell, Barl)

Car rental

It's worth renting a car if you head straight from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport to explore the beauty of the countryside around the Mosel Valley.

The terminal is home to many branches of international car rental companies and prices for a week start at around 220 eur.
