Grenoble Alpes Isère Airport in a nutshell

Grenoble

Grenoble, the capital of the French Isère region, can be reached directly by plane via Grenoble Alpes-Isère Airport, 44 km from the city centre.

The airport is largely served only by winter ski charter and low-cost flights from the UK, the Netherlands, Scandinavia or Poland. Most flights are operated by easyJet, Ryanair and Jet2.com.

Chambéry CMF airport, for example, 90 km away, has a similar traffic pattern.

There are no year-round scheduled flights to Grenoble, but you can use the much larger Lyon LYS airport just 70km away.

The single modern terminal is very small and uncluttered. From the entrance of the building to the planes you walk no more than 150 metres.
