Shops and supermarket

Travellers at airports often want to find convenience stores, which Glasgow Airport caters for. There is an M&S Simply Food supermarket in the arrivals hall, open 6am-11pm.

There are also WHSmith minimarkets dotted around the airport in several locations in the public and transit areas, offering a wide range of drinks, sandwiches, crisps and sweets. Individual branches are usually open from 4:00 to 21:30.

In the terminal, refreshments are available mainly in the departures hall after security or in the public area of the arrivals hall.

The vast majority of outlets open as early as 4:00 and close between 21:30 and 22:00.

  • Classic restaurants - Bird & Signet, Caledonia Bar & Restaurant, The Spinning Jenny, Frankie & Bennys

ATMs and currency exchange offices

Only "Travelex" ATMs are available in the arrival and departure halls. Charges for foreign card withdrawals (with accounts in currencies other than sterling) are around 5 gbp.

Currency exchange offices of the same company operate in the departure hall and have very unfavourable rates.

However, there is no need to withdraw or change money as most services can be paid for by card in the UK.
