The Christopher Columbus Airport is located on an artificial peninsula close to the sea and at a short distance from the centre of Genoa (about 7 km).
Genoa Airport is a small airport, with mainly domestic flights, supplemented by several international connections to the most important European hubs.
By far the most flights to the airport are operated by Ryanair. However, you can also buy tickets to Genoa on websites such as klm.com, volotea.com or vueling.com.
The single terminal is older, but with plenty of seating and very short distances thanks to its triangular shape. Just arrive 90 minutes before departure. The airport is open between 4:40 and 0:30.
