Getting from Fuerteventura Airport

Fuerteventura

The terminal is home to many car rental companies and bus routes from major cities.

Car rental

The most convenient mode of transport if you want to experience all the natural beauty of the islands is to rent a car. The arrivals hall houses all the car rental companies operating in Fuerteventura. It is always better to book a car in advance for the lowest possible price.

Weekly rental prices range from around 150 eur when booking in advance. Read our in-depth article on car hire in Fuerteventura for specific tips on car rental companies and operations in Fuerteventura.

Buses

The bus service on the island is operated by Tiadhe, whose website tiadhe.com for information on routes and timetables.

Tickets are always purchased from the driver and are cash only. You can buy either a paper ticket for a specific route or a BtF card (purchase price 5 eur), which will make all fares 10% cheaper. You can also buy this card from the driver.

See where buses run directly from the airport and how often. Click on the line number to see the timetable and route map.

At weekends, the intervals are always about twice as long.
