Enfidha – Hammamet International Airport in a nutshell

Hammamet

Enfidha - Hammamet Airport is the newest air port in Tunisia, having only opened at the end of 2009. At the turn of the millennium, there was a critical need for a new airport due to seasonal congestion at the airports in Tunis and Monastir.

The site chosen was near the main A1 motorway, about 45 km north of Sousse and 59 km south of Hammamet.

The single modern terminal is unusually spacious and clean for a holiday airport. Orientation is very easy and it is only about 100 metres from the terminal entrance to the aircraft.

Regular year-round flights are mainly to France, Switzerland and the UK. In the summer season, Enfidha Airport is served by many charter flights for tour operators from all over Europe.
