Al Alamein Airport is currently only accessible by taxi and there is no public transport.

Taxi / Uber / Careem

Mobile apps such as Careem or Uber are currently not working in El Alamein and the surrounding area, leaving the only available taxis waiting outside the terminal.

Taxis are usually always waiting after the arrival of scheduled flights and approximate prices are as follows:

Transportation with travel agencies

If you have bought a tour to Egypt with a travel agent (flight + accommodation + airport transfer), you will pick up your luggage and walk out of the transit zone.

In the arrivals hall, there are stands of each travel agency where your delegates are waiting.

They will direct you to a bus that will take you directly to your hotel at no extra charge. The tourist bus stand is approximately 50 metres outside the terminal.

Public transport

There are no buses or trains to the El Alamein Airport terminal.
